Starving Artist

"And in the morning, I'm making waffles!"

So I don't actually have the desire to make waffles but I do love them and thanks to my own resident artist, I now know where I can get them in ways I didn't even think of before!

This was my first visit to Starving Artist.  We ate at their Lansdowne location and it was so good I plan on having brunch at all three.  Every meal is either something in, on or beside waffles.  For all you bacon lovers out there, the waffle bacon will probably be what keeps you coming back because it looks like the best combo of sweet and salty.

We opted for Hitchhiker (I chose to sub my bacon for avocado) and Spicy Chicken but the decision was a hard one to make because there are so many interesting choices.  Our waffles were fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and everything else that went with these waffles was delicious.

The food is really, really good.  The service is excellent (shout out to Julia and Dougie at the Lansdowne location).  The prices are sure to keep starving artists well fed and everything comes with waffles!
